Cash Discount Processing lets you recoup processing costs by offering a cash discount to customers. On each transaction, the customer will be aware that paying cash is cheaper than card, and when they pay with a card they’ll understand that there will be a 3.9% fee attached to the payment. This way your processing fees at the end of each month are not paid by your profits. Instead, you are putting money aside each month using this program.

Traditional processing allows you to pay a flat fee for credit card processing. No matter the card used, you will pay an average cost per credit card with an effective rate between 2.6% to 3.2%. If your businesses processes larger volumes you will qualify for a lower rate.

2.80% to 3.00% for small businesses processing an average ticket of $20 to $200.
